The aim of the Call Line Service is to make daily morning telephone calls to clients for a friendly chat and to make sure they are OK. People who live alone often feel a sense of isolation and their confidence is undermined. Family and friends may live some distance away and visitors are few. For many of our clients, our call line volunteers are the only other voice they will hear that day.
As a call line volunteer, you will be placed on a rota and be responsible for making these calls and liasing with staff should you have any concerns regarding a client.
Full training will be provided.
